About Haber Nexus

Haber Nexus is an independent digital news publication based in Türkiye. Our English edition brings the stories that shape the country, its economy and its neighbourhood to readers who follow Türkiye from abroad, without needing to read Turkish.

What we cover

• Türkiye: politics, the economy, society, security and daily life across the country.
• The region: the Middle East, the Caucasus, the Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean, with a focus on what developments mean for Türkiye.
• The world: major international stories, especially those with consequences for Türkiye and the region.

How we work

We build our reporting on official statements, news agencies and established news organisations, and we list the sources behind every story at the end of the article. Some stories are compiled with the help of AI and checked before and after publication; we label them clearly. Our editorial policy explains our standards in detail, and our corrections policy explains how we fix mistakes.

Two editions

Haber Nexus publishes a Turkish edition at habernexus.com and this English edition at habernexus.com/en. The two editions share the same standards but are edited separately, so stories and sections differ.
